Shri Dadasaheb Gawai Charitable Trust, Amravati (A Buddhist Minority Institution Recognized by the Government of Maharashtra ) was established in the year 1991. The mission undertaken by the SDGCT is to strive for the realization of the goals set by the great visionary and Father of Indian Constitution BharatRatna Hon’ble. Dr. B.R. alias Babasaheb Ambedkar. The trust owes its existence to the vision and foresight of guiding light and former governor of Bihar and Kerala State Hon’ble. Shri R.S. alias Dadasaheb Gawai and the founder president Hon’ble. Aai Dr. Kamaltai R. Gawai, who inspires us all to seek excellence in our entire endeavor. All the institutions governed by SDGCT seek to fulfill the goal of imparting quality education to the students of marginalized section of the society. Now it is a matter of great pride that four of the educational institutions governed by SDGCT are heading towards golden jubilee celebration.

Today, the SDGCT family is headed by a visionary dynamic leader Hon’ble. Mrs. Kirtitai Rajesh Arjun. In her leadership our institutions are taking a leap in the field of pharmacy, e-learning education, research training programmes, digitalization of library, UGC sponsored B. Voc. Courses and Community colleges combining with traditional courses . The efforts at the helm have brought academics and industry on one platform through the training and placement cell, campus interviews, business fair, science exhibitions, skill oriented training etc. The S.D.G.C.T. fosters campus environment conducive to learning, creativity, performance oriented and stress free in all its institutions, where education is imparted from pre-primary to Post Graduation and research activities.
